I grew up babysitting for one family every summer down the cape, and I loved playing and taking care of the five kids (ranging from 6 months-6 years old). I grew to love teaching kids when I played soccer at Trinity College (Hartford, CT), and I worked different camps with my team teaching children about sportsmanship and teamwork, along with the rules of the game. This ultimately led me to pursue a career in teaching. Today, I work as a teacher's aide in a second-grade classroom outside of Boston. I work with different students who have various learning needs by offering educational support and emotional support. I am looking to go back to school soon to obtain a Master's in Education to become a classroom teacher.
