Hi! My name is Mary. I'm a senior at Wellesley College and I have about 8 years of babysitting and 4 years of petsitting under my belt. I adore working with children and have dreams of becoming an elementary teacher. My sister has Down syndrome and I've worked in a camp for disabled kids and adults so I'm more than capable of working with kids with diverse needs. I've worked with children outside of my family ages 5 months to 13 years, and people with special needs of all ages (including being a caregiver for my sister 40 hours a week!). I've also worked as a swim instructor (if you're looking for a swim instructor, especially for younger kids, I'm your girl!), lifeguard, ropes course instructor, and archery instructor at Tenacre Day Camp, and directed a camp in Cambridge in 2022. I also have a car with me at college, Read more so I am able to drive children and teens to activities as well and have reliable transportation to jobs. As for petsitting, I've taken care of cats, dogs, and bunnies in the past and love working with them as well. I have an enthusiastic and empathetic attitude towards pets and kids and would love to have a gig doing what I love. I have references available upon request! Feel free to reach out if you are interested in having me help! I'm student teaching this coming semester so I will be free 3:30 pm on, 3 times a weeks, and for weekend days and nights as well.
