I was an Au Pair for 2 years in the US. My first host family in Harvard-MA had 3 kids by the time I was there. The kids were 3 yo, 18 months and a newborn. My routine was to wake up the kids, give them breakfast, take the oldest to the daycare and pick him up, go to other activities with the second child, like go to the library, music class or gymnastics. I also was responsible for bath time and helping with dinner. My second year was in San Francisco, I took care of a very sweet little girl, she was 11 months old by that time. I worked a lot with her, because the parents were very busy, so I was with her every day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. I was responsible for everything, changing, feeding, doing outside activities like library, playgrounds, music class. After Read more that I worked as a nanny for different families, taking care of kids of all ages. My latest experience is with 2 different families. The first with 2 girls ages 12 and 8 yo, and the other a family with 4 kids, ages 9, 8, 5 and 3 yo. I worked with these 2 families for 3 years. I have had very good experiences so far and I am looking forward to working with a kind family and helping with the kids.
