Since I have always loved children, I have been babysitting for many, many years and then became a nanny. I have raised my own children that are now grown and ran a daycare from my home in order to be a full time stay at home mom. I am now a grandmother of three and take every opportunity given to me to babysit for my precious babies. My love for children makes babysitting fun and never feels like a job. I love spending time with little ones and being silly with them. I understand that it's not always about just playing and will definitely respect the wishes of parents. Each child has their own individual needs that need to be met and meeting them efficiently comes easier with all of my personal experience. I have cared for children that were ill including my own son who was born with a Read more very serious heart defect in addition to two of my grandchildren that were born premature. While caring for children that are not always healthy can be challenging, it taught me a great deal and equipped me with the tools and knowledge that I can utilize in the event an unexpected situation should arises.I am now searching for families to fill up my availability and until then, have a very flexible schedule. Most of the time I can be available on short notice. I love simply spending time with little ones but also take great pleasure in everyday sort of playing, reading to them, and participating in hands on, age appropriate activities while understanding that it can't always be just fun and games.
