Hello family, I hope you are well. My name is Ekiti Bertha. I am a fun loving aunt of four darling nephews. I have two older sisters. I am Jamaican American. I love my family and myself very much. I am the kind of person that feels joy when I put others before myself. I adore children because they are windows to enjoying life from an innocent perspective. I enjoy working within beautiful homes and playroom settings because this is where I am most comfortable. Nannying children is my safe haven. After many years of experience babysitting and nannying, I have become an expert. And I realized after graduating with a degree in Communication Design from CSU, Chico recently that entertaining pre-school and elementary children is a real passion of mine. Children seem to light up my life. Additionally, I have a passion and knack for caring for kids that are in special education. I literally feel such joy and happiness when I have the pleasure of interacting with them. In my spare time, I like to sew, read, cook, bake, clean, walk, bike ride, draw and dance or practice yoga. A fun fact about about me is that I am a warrior and a survivor! In addition, I come from a strong tribe of ancestors and the most high is my guide. I just love being myself! I am a happy go lucky person. Joy and gratitude are my way of life. I am a glass all the way full type! I am energetic, and I love to exercise. I feel a difference in my brain when it receives lots of fresh air and sunlight. My caregiving specialties include meal preparation, folding laundry, tidying, singing, walking in the park, playing drums and story telling. I am also an avid birder and wildlife enthusiast!
