Although I don’t have much formal baby sitting experience, I have a lot of personal experience as well as professional experience working hands-on with children in different environments. I have a love for working with children and look forward to the day that my husband and I have our own. I have been a caregiver since the time I could walk, from my baby dolls which then transformed into helping take care of my baby cousins when I was around the age of 10-15. I did have one babysitting position when I was about 11-12 for a neighbor’s 1 year old who I regularly watched for about 2 years. I was in charge of feeding, diaper changes, play time, and nap time / bed time. In terms of personal experience within the family, I helped take care of my cousins from the ages of newborn - about 8 years old. Read more With my professional experience, I worked with children diagnosed with ASD as a behavior tech for a short time and also worked as a transportation driver for kids who attended programs for ASD. That did not entail so much of the hands on work that nannying requires, but taught me a lot about children of all ages. I have a good understanding of child development and in my journey to prepare for becoming a mother have done a lot of work to educate myself on gentle parenting and how to communicate with children while allowing them to express and feel their emotions. I am creative and crafty while also being a patient teacher when it comes to homework or projects. I enjoy fostering a child’s imagination and helping them learn new things. I am someone who loves all and believes that everyone deserves to be treated equally. With my hands-on skills, I am comfortable with diaper changes, feeding, nap/bed time, homework, outdoor time, transportation, and just about anything that it entails to take care of your little ones. I would love the opportunity to be a part of your child’s growth and help the hardworking parents that need an extra hand, whatever the reason may be. Overall, I am a loving, outgoing, friendly and passionate woman with a love for caring for children.
