I have a lot of different types of experience. I grew up with a younger brother, and we were often left home alone so at a young age I began watching him and other children in my neighborhood after school. Once I reached high school I began nannying more regularly, and I took Child development and Early Childhood Education I and II. I worked in a in school preschool accompanied by a lead teacher in a room of around 12 children for 3 years. I went to UMASS Dartmouth for a year pursuing education, I am currently taking time off. After college I worked at a daycare (ages 6mo-6yrs) in Boston as a lead toddler teacher a room of around 12 children (ages 1.5-3 yrs) but I worked in other rooms as well. I learned how to create art, math, science, reading and art lessons for children of all ages, Read more I conducted observations, and parent/teacher conferences. I am a trained EMT basic, as well as certified in pet CPR. I have worked closely with families as their only nanny, traveled with them, lived with them, and driven their vehicles. I was a 1st and 2nd grade assistant Sunday school teacher. I participated in drama club for 6 years and I love the arts. I was in a multicultural club at school. I love being outdoors and active! I run and go to the gym daily! Eating healthy is a big deal for me as I'm sure it is for you and your children! I speak basic Spanish but I am not perfectly fluent.I love children of all ages and stages. I've worked with potty and non- potty trained children. I love playing with kids and I can help with homework. I love to read and do art.I am willing to do light housework.
