Hello! My name is Portteia, my favorite color is purple, I enjoy collecting rocks and records, and I am a graduate student at Salem State University! I have volunteered all throughout my life and I have worked with a variety of age ranges. I knew I wanted to work with kids when I began working as a research assistant in a emotion-regulation research lab during my undergraduate degree because I loved interacting with the kids and spending time with them on home visits! Although I do not have any paid experience with childcare, I am CPR certified and I have volunteered to babysit children several times throughout my life.
