Growing up, many of my neighbors hired me as a babysitter from ages 14-17. Most of the children I babysat were ages 4-11. I have also participated in an organization called safety town through my local school system which allowed me to work with kindergartners in a classroom setting during the summer before first grade to help them with behavior, reading, remembering phone numbers, etc. The best feeling was when I could feel a connection building with the child enough for them to feel comfortable with me. I also love animals of all sizes, I’ve grown up always having 2 dogs and 2 cats in the house. I’m also comfortable with smaller animals like reptiles. As I don’t technically have much professional experience, I am very confident in my childcare abilities and love working with children and animals.
