I am a 21-year-old rising-senior at Wesleyan University (CT) living in NYC this summer. I know NYC, as I have been coming frequently for my entire life (entire family lives here), while my immediately family lives in the DC area. I am interning at a Neuroscience lab and hoping to pick up some extra work outside of that! I have been babysitting since 2014, when I began helping families at my synagogue, and nannied throughout high school while attending school and competing on multiple rowing teams. I worked part-time jobs, both as-needed and weekly/daily, for families with children aged 4 to 12 with any number of kids, involving pick-ups from school/camp, transportation to/from activities, evening/bedtime routines, and simple meal prep, homework and tutoring, playtime and more. I also have a knack for organizing and re-organizing, so I am happy to organize/clean playrooms, or other areas of the house, and even Read more will organize your closet (I do so for you, or I have even worked with moms to organize together with them if they request). I am flexible, able to drive (but do not have a car with me in the city), and simply love working with kids. I have also been coaching youth rowing for the past few years which requires extensive and up-to-date first-aid/CPR and other safety certifications, as well SafeSport certification for protection of youth in sports. I have experience working with children with special needs, specifically autism, since 2013. I grew up going to overnight camp, and in a household with my three sisters, so I understand the significance of the young role models and caregivers involved in a child's life. My mom is incredible, but could not have done it all for four daughters without the amazing young women who watched us!
