Hi my name is Gavin, I am 22 years old. I would describe myself as very outgoing, energetic and light-hearted. I am a HUGE Celtics fan. I grew up in Lexington and went to minutemen high school. Growing up, I played basketball and studied engineering and architecture. My goal is to become a firefighter one day but in the meantime, I am looking for a full time babysitting career. I have cared for kids ever since I was little from watching my little brother to my 3 nephews to working at bright horizon with my mom, my love for kids has grown so much. I have been a male sitter for about 5 years now and the family I was sitting for moved to a different state :(. My mother and my girlfriend are also babysitters for other families and are very happy. Interviewed for a consistent afterschool nanny job throughout the year, met the kids, and agreed to terms, including a delayed start date to accommodate a class he was taking. We then stayed in touch in the intervening month. When we reached out ~1 week before the start date we had agreed upon, he told us that "just yesterday" he got a career-changing opportunity. In addition to the switch after the commitment, which is highly unprofessional, the lack of communication was quite challenging. I'm not sure when he was planning to tell us if we hadn't reached out. Seemed lovely but, in our experience, unfortunately cannot be relied upon.
