Hello! My name is Elise, I am currently a student entering my third year at University of Massachusetts Amherst majoring in both Astronomy and Physics. I have experience working in both public and private child care, and I absolutely love the energy and environment that children create. I am always intrigued by abstract thinking, and I find that children are particularly proficient at this, each in their own unique way. They demonstrate an extraordinary array of skills and creativity, and it is amazing to watch them create new worlds and find unconventional solutions that I never would have thought of. The opportunity to help facilitate a child's process of navigating their worlds, all on the physical, emotional, and mental level, is extraordinary. I find so much joy witnessing a child’s sense of wonder, knowing that whatever they are thinking and experiencing will only lead to more questions and excitement.
