My name is Keanna, I'm 21 years old I have been babysitting for almost 8 years and have had various other experiences working with children. I primarily babysat for a family with 3 children from my sophomore year of high school to my freshmen year of college, the children were the ages of 7, 4 and 8 months old. I was there multiple times and nights a week and enjoyed watching them grow so much. I now babysit for a family occasionally for date nights and other commitments who have 2 girls who are the ages of 8 and 5. I also have worked with children in other settings beside babysitting like being a helper and substitute teacher at my childhood dance studio and I took a gap year from college this previous year where I worked as a title one reading teacher at a middle school. I also was Read more extremely involved with best buddies my entire life where I partook in various sports, activities and events with children who have various disabilities which I absolutely loved before graduating high school. In college I was also an orientation leader for my university which meant I was responsible for being energetic and supportive as the incoming freshmen adjusted to college. In my previous babysitting jobs I was responsible for providing meals for the children and I also took it upon myself to do cleaning in the kitchen and elsewhere in the house, doing overnights with them and getting them prepared for bed and taking care of their various pets. Working with children has always brought me so much joy, watching them grow and develop unique personalities is such a blessing. I would love to continue this by finding a family who needs consistent help and support! My availability for the summer is majorly open other than a few dates with prior commitments and I attend MCLA so I'm able to babysit into the fall as well if needed. So excited for this new opportunity!
