I am a 29 year old long-time nanny and caregiver looking for part-time or occasional work, especially during the school year. I'm available Tuesday, Wednesday, evenings, and some weekends. I have extensive experience in childcare with children as young as 6 weeks up through 18 years old, and have worked with children and youth on the autism spectrum and with mental illness. Most recently I worked as a long-term sub at a Montessori school, primarily in their infant room. In addition to nanny and babysitting work, I've worked with children at the Y, summer camps, in a preschool, and on a pediatric psych unit. I'm happy to help with some cooking, cleaning, laundry, pet care, and transportation (using your car or mine) as well. I value open communication, kindness, and trust and autonomy from families- I'd like to be a part of the team. I enjoy getting out of the Read more house for visits to playgrounds, museums, libraries, and for activities or classes around the city.
