Hello, My name is Başak, and I am a 33-year-old woman. Currently, I am studying Expressive Arts Therapy at Lesley University at the graduate level. My days are filled with a combination of various activities, including spending quality time with friends, dancing, going to the pool, and biking around the city. Some days, I attend classes at school, while on other days, I work as an intern through my school. Additionally, I engage in part-time nannying alongside my studies. Presently, I am taking care of Valerie, a 2-year-old girl. I have been looking after her since she was only 5 months old, which has allowed us to develop a very special bond. During my time at school, my available work hours were limited. However, now that it is summer, my schedule is open until September when my school resumes. Before Valerie, I had a few different experiences working as a Read more nanny. In 2018-2019, I traveled around the world, taking on casual jobs. I spent a few months in Australia, caring for a 3-year-old named Kalindi. After some traveling in Southeast Asia, I went to Sweden to look after a 5-month-old named Trylle and a 3-year-old named Tierra. I have also supported various families on a casual basis in the US. As a dancer and singer, my studies focus on integrating these artistic practices into therapy, as I aspire to become a therapist in the future.
