We had great experience with Simone as the nanny for our 5 year old son. She came highly recommended from her previous employer with whom she worked for 5 years. And all the things I heard then turned out be very true. Simone was with us for 8 months right before my son started Kindergarten. She is very professional, reliable, patient, soft spoken and true to her words. She is not a person who will give up that easily. My son took a few weeks to get adjusted with her at the beginning, I almost lost hope but she was very patient and assured me that it will take time but it will work out. And it most certainly did! When she first started working with us, she did not come with preset notions but really listened and paid attention to our needs/feedback and diligently implemented it. My son eventually warmed up to her and loved spending time with her. She helped him get completely potty trained. Because he was about to start school, she took the initiative and did a lot of academic work with him (reading, writing, crafts, math). She would find creative ways to get him interested in academic work. They would go to library, playground, swim lessons, walks together. She reinforced good manners in him and taught right from wrong. Overall, she had been a very good influence on my son at this crucial age. The only reason I had to let her go is because my son started Kindergarten, and he is an only child. I highly recommend Simone to anyone who is looking for a responsible and reliable nanny.
