Hello! I am 29 years old, experienced sitter/nanny with a love for working with children of all ages and getting to know their individual personalities. I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in perinatal mental health. I love my job, but I'm looking to pick up occasional babysitting jobs as I dig my way out of student loan debt and save up for my wedding ;) While completing my Master's degree, I worked for 3 families as a babysitter, mother's helper and weekend nanny (one family had 2 & 4 year old, one had an infant & 4 year old, and one had 3 kids ages 8, 13 and 15). Most recently I worked for a lovely family as a date night sitter for their 8 yr old, 3 yr old and 4 month old, until they moved out of state. Prior to becoming a social worker, I worked Read more as the Late Care teacher in a Montessori preschool in Acton, MA. I was also a summer nanny for two of my former students ages 3 and 4. In addition, I have experience teaching swimming to young children ages 6 months (Mommy & Me class) through 12 yrs, as well as teaching in bilingual preschool classrooms in Spain and giving private English lessons to 2-11 year olds. I love working with children of all ages, and have a range of experience in different ages and settings. I am flexible, energetic and hard-working, and I have a reliable car and a valid driver's license. I am Preschool Teacher Level 1 certified in the state of Massachusetts, and have extensive experience preparing crafts, games and activities for young children, and taking them on outings. I have also volunteered in various after-school programs as an assistant dance teacher and tutor-mentor. I love cooking and would be happy to prepare any meals or snacks for your family. Eva babysat for our 2-year-old and 4-month-old for 2 nights and was fantastic with both kids -- fun with the (difficult!) toddler and very confident and loving with the baby. She was prompt to arrive both nights and quick to reply to texts while we were out. We would work with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for childcare.
