Hi! I’m Marci. I was born in Branson Missouri where I grew up in a state-licensed in-home daycare ran by my dad. Growing up here gave me the opportunity to allow childcare to become second nature to me. I was always around to help out. I learned infant care early on and when I became old enough became certified as a daycare assistant. We also implement tons of curricular into our days, and encourage positive play/social skills among little ones ie: independence, compassion, sharing, and listening skills. Some of the daily curriculum included (but is never limited to) learning numbers, letters, shapes, colors, insects, animals, dinosaurs, and problem solving activities such as puzzles. I believe healthy and varried meals and snacks are a must as well to ensure a colorful and balanced palet/diet can be achieved in young ones. I am also CPR certified. Currently: My partner and I have recently relocated back to the lower 48 after living in rural Alaska for two years where we also had our baby girl! She will be two in late October (2024) and she goes everywhere with me. She is my plus one and a bonus friend for your kiddo!
