Hello! My name is Madeleine Bourgeois! I was born and raised in New Orleans/Metairie. I have had 5+ years of babysitting experience, as well as working at multiple summer camps in New Orleans. For the past 2 summers, I have worked at St. Martin’s Episcopal School Summer Camp with ages 3-14 as the Theatre Camp Counselor & 3-year Old Specialist. Additionally, I have worked multiple theatre camps & a science camp. During high school, I worked at the local playground where I sold concessions & operated the gate at numerous sporting events.I am going into my senior year at Texas State University where I am obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre with a minor in Mass Communication. At Texas State University, I am a member of the Honors College, & have maintained a 4.0 GPA while taking 18+ hours every semester. Originally from New Orleans, I was Read more dually enrolled in two high schools, one for academics and one for performing arts & graduated 4th in my class with a 4.8 GPA. In high school, I was involved in student council, choir, Key Club, drama, National Honor Society, & was the anchor of our school morning news. I absolutely love to sing & dance, as well as explore other creative outlets like visual art & playing instruments. I have been involved in over 40 musicals and operas in the New Orleans metro area & Central Texas area. My personal favorites have been the experiences where I was able to play multiple Disney Princess Characters. Before moving to Texas, I was also on my local country club's swim team for seven years. I am CPR Certified for infants & adults and have a valid background check from the state of Louisiana. I have a car & have been a licensed driver since I was 16 years old. I have never gotten in an accident. I have a brother who is five years younger than me. My mom has been a third grade teacher for 24 years & I have volunteered 100+ hours at her school. I am fully vaccinated + boosted! Currently, I am a part time college student who has one class a week and rehearsals at night. I have my own car.
