I adore taking care of babies, toddlers and older children. Although I don't have children of my own, I have always taken care of my friends' children. I love the pure delight that children have in exploring their world and I find it fascinating to be a part of their excitement in discovering what life holds for them. Babies, toddlers and puppies connect with me very easily. I think they sense when when they are in the care of someone who really enjoys being with them. Older children ask if I can come back and play with them and help out with their school work. You will find that I am well-educated with master's-level degrees from prestigious schools. You will also find that I am creative, energetic, playful and that I provide incomparable attention to your children. I have been caring for children since my early teens. One of my favorite families had a set of twins who I cared for since they were a month old until they were two years old, when I went to college. I'm a avid couples' dancer. In my spare time, pre-Covid, I would be out dancing to live music: swing, salsa, merengue, bachata, cajun, and zydeco. We are blessed with truly amazing, local bands and I look forward to the end of the "new normal", when it is safe to be out in social gatherings, once again. Spanish is a second language for me. I can also provide tutoring services for elementary through college level students in English, math, Spanish, science and other subjects. Each child learns differently and I consider it part of my job to understand a child's needs and to adapt the learning process, accordingly. In my view, all children are math aces, even if they have yet to discover that. I don't post my picture on the internet. My references are excellent! I do respect the privacy of others, so while I don't post my references on websites, I am happy to provide references on a case-by-case basis - after we have a chance to connect. I have my own transportation.
