I am currently a part time substitute for the local school system, and provide child care for 1 teacher and emergency childcare for another local teacher. Before I had my first child 15 years ago I was the CFO/COO of an Ohio company for 22 years. Prior to that I was in college and worked as an expanded duties dental assistant for a pediatric dentist. I have been with my husband since 1997 and we have two daughters, 15 and 12. Both girls are in the gifted and talented program, advanced classes with a 4.0 or higher. Our 15 year old is beginning her 5th season on the high school golf team and her 2nd season as a varsity player. She made the golf team leaving 5th grade and is currently a 9th grader. She is an avid reader and very artistic. She enjoys archery and animals. Our 12 year Read more old is starting her 2nd year as a member of the high school JV golf team. She takes studio dance and is a member of her schools competitive dance team & school musical theater. Both girls are members of honor society and student council. We regularly volunteer as a family for GoPantry, Master Provisions and the schools PTSA. My husband is a senior IT Engineer and Lead Analyst for a local fortune 500 company. He has been in his current profession since 1983. Other than occasionally subbing in the school system I provide child care for a teacher and emergency child care for 1 other teacher. I am the stereotypical stay at home mom! When providing child care, I treat the children just as I did my own when they were small. I provide a healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks. We sing songs, make fun games to learn ABC's, 123's, shapes, colors, etc. We dance, sing, color, take walks, play outside, nap and snuggle. We are not afraid to be silly and get a little messy!
