To You and Your family: Hi! My name is Marisa Martin, a natural Child Care enthusiast who is committed to pursuing a clean and healthy lifestyle. An environmentalist, who has much experience in creating great relationships that hold strong through the test of time. My experience working in building relationships started when I was merely five years old as I learned how to be of service to my community outwardly through Girl Scouts of America and Inner Circle Foster Care. Initiatives including but not limited to creating care packages for the Women’s Care cottage, wrapping presents during the holidays for families with foster care children, and even holiday caroling for children with special needs, taught me at a very young age that caring for others in any way possible was where my heart lies. Destined to use my talents towards leading children came directly from my mother. A Day care Read more Provider herself, a foster parent to many, and even an adoptive mother of 2 twin girls. She bestowed the gift of patience, kindness, and a wide variety of nurturing qualities only learned through motherhood. Growing up, being the oldest of 4 girl’s I became Mommy’s little helper. Changing diapers, and leading activities in any way I could. By age 10, I can proudly say that I aided my mother in all daily activities with her Day Care children. By age 13, I had already given care to children of ages 0-12 yrs old. I took my own initiatives to perform all duties of house cleaning, cooking, and caring for her students, to show her own clients that I was ready for any positions needed outside of her regular Daycare Hours. Matching talents with my love for music and the great outdoors, was showcased during my years spent as a Camp counseler, Arts and Crafts Director. As a singer-songwriter, and professional performer, I have the confidence to perform a job well done, and do it in style! I am very friendly, upbeat, and my ability to work with just about anybody makes coming into new environments very comforting for all parties involved. I have the skills, the hunger for new opportunity, and the will to complete any and all tasks handed to me. I believe I would be an amazing fit to your family, not only based upon my qualifications, but because of my love and passion for helping young hearts blossom into strong, positive, caring individuals. Children are our future, let’s make it bright!
