Hi! My name is Grace. I am currently a sophomore at The University of Dayton. I am a Psychology major, with a Social Work minor. When not at school, I live in Louisville, Kentucky. I am First Aid/CPR certified. The personality traits I possess that would makes me a great babysitter are outgoing, compassionate, understanding, and patient. I am also very accountable and am always on time. I am a hard worker but also love to have fun. I am very go with flow and up for anything or any challenge. I am energetic and love to make people laugh. I have had many relevant experiences with kids. I have been a nanny for the past three summers. One of the kids I nannied for had special needs and we bonded all summer. I volunteered at a special needs school called The Binet School for middle schoolers. I also volunteered Read more at Kids Cancer Alliance (a camp for children with cancer). I also volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul in Dayton working with children who are experiencing homelessness. I have been a local babysitter since I was in sixth grade and am extremely close with my younger cousins. This past summer, I was a nanny for a 7 year old boy with special needs. His mom was a director at a summer camp in Lake Tahoe, California and they live at the camp all summer. I lived at the camp as well. When he was not at camp (because he went home for three weeks) I was a camp counselor. I was a counselor for 12 year old girls for 2 weeks and a counselor for 7 year old boys for 2 weeks. I have been taking care of children for 7 years now. I love being able to make a positive impact and make special bonds with those I care for.
