My name is Ashleigh Dries, and I am 24 years old! I am currently working full time as a District Manager at ADP, while studying and pursuing a career at Century Mortgage as a Loan Originator. I have been a babysitter, nanny, and caregiver for pets since I was 13 years old when my little sister who is 8 years younger than me was born and I began to learn very quickly. I then became a nanny for numerous families at the age of 16 when I was able to drive. (Excellent References available). I also worked at family friend owned daycare called Cherished Children’s for multiple summers and every Thanksgiving/Christmas break that I have had the time to do so. My major at UofL is Special Education. My absolute favorite part of being a nanny is the ability to be an integral part of a child's development. There is Read more nothing more rewarding than watching a child grow and progress while in my care. The fact that I am with the child for a significant amount of the day makes me realize I largely influence them and will impact their lives. It is clearly a huge responsibility, but is something I take as an honor and a privilege. I am the oldest of 10 cousins on one side and one of the youngest of 7 on the other. As you could assume this helped me gain strength, trust, and patience. I am from a large family of all ages, with cases of Special Ed on both sides which has helped me tremendously along the way.
