Hello, my name is Cassandra and I am currently looking for a full-time nanny job. Here is a little background on me, I have 6 years experience working with children from different age groups, I am taking college courses (online) to become a teacher, so I’m pretty flexible with hours and days. I am CPR certified, I do believe that children learn best through play, I want to help children learn with their cognitive learning and how to expand their learning horizon. I can help with homework if needed, I can also help with light housekeeping, transportation, meal times, arts and crafts, playing outside, doing fun activities to get them involved. Cassandra is clearly very experienced and knowledgeable, and we were excited to work with her. Her circumstances changed and we weren't able to move forward. I understand this happens! However, she communicated that she would be able to carry out the work we'd agreed on for the first week - and then didn't show up on the day, didn't answer her text messages, and didn't answer her phone. I know things change, and I would have been fine if she had cancelled the night before when she shared that things had changed for her. But to say she could still come and then simply not show put us in a tight spot, where we had to scramble to figure out rides for our kids. I'm sure she will be a good fit for the right job! I just wish she hadn't left us hanging, and I also hope her situation improves.
