Hi! I have a Bachelor's degree from University of Kentucky in Psychology with focus on Family Science so caregiving for children, seniors or people with special needs. My mother has been Kindergarten teacher for 25 years and I've seen and learned from her wonderful ability to connect with children. She has inspired me to be a nurturing support to each individual child's needs having good communication, setting goals, having patience for different learning styles, building trust and giving full attention to meeting goals together, tending to their needs having fun playing, using imagination and I love playing outside when the weather is nice! :) I help to take care of my 3 year old niece and we have so much fun going to the playground on sunny days. I have experience babysitting children as young as 5 months old up to children in 5th grade. I've learned through helping my Read more mom in her kindergarten classroom as well as her second grade room when I was in college and had time to help her out and learned so much from her. My niece and other children I've babysat remind me how much fun life can be and creating play with our imagination. Playing outside, doing any kind of artwork, playing house, sports and games, I'm up for it all as long as we are staying safe and responsible. I am able to safely drive to and from school pickup, drop off, errands, after school activates. I have 4 available seats and I am happy to help with cooking, preparing meals and snacks, organizing and cleaning, school work, tutoring, reading, nap times, potty training, doing laundry and transporting to and from school and other after school activities or errands. I'd love to help you and working for families is a joy to me. I'd love to have an opportunity to nanny part time or full time and I'm available as of now 7 days a week and all hours. I don't have children of my own though I'm hoping and planning to in the future.
