Growing up, my family always valued education mainly because my grandmother and her mother both worked in the school system their whole life. Being around and caring for children and others was instilled in me. Throughout the years, I have been able to develop a strong sense of patience and kindness for others. I have developed various skills in home chores, organization, leadership, and I am always eager to learn new things and have new experiences. I have been a nanny and a babysitter for various families over the years since 2014. I took a few years off to continue my higher education where I was still active within the community and took as much time as I could to help future generations to grow and prosper mainly through education and arts. I am a dog lover and have taken care of pets for a few people in the past Read more and I open to doing so now also. I started working with children in 2011 as a member and volunteer of the youth bird at the Louisville zoo, until 2015. In 2014, I was a nanny for a single mother of four children, who was also a college student at the time. After leaving for college, I was able to help the mother from time to time when I was on school breaks. While in school I participated in various programs to remain active: On the move art studio, Big brothers Big sisters, the Anti Virus Mentor program, volunteered at the Nest (center for women, children and families), an after school program, and at the YMCA for the summer reading program. Needless to say, I value the growth of children far more than others may believe. I enjoy watching children grow into their own person through the different stage developments and environments they encounter.
