"What qualifications do you have?" I have real-world experience with handling children, I'm not afraid of a dirty diaper, a nosebleed, or a choking hazard. I have CPR experience, but don't believe I have the official certification yet. (5 years of Girl Scouts, lots of practice!) I am knowledgeable about the creative fields, and what sort of goals or aspirations children should have for a future at Disney, Pixar, etc. "Why did I become a nanny?" I have always interacted with children, and adore hearing them ramble about their imaginative stories or interactions. I was originally forced to watch the younger children in my family, but have since grown comfortable with the role. I try to go above and beyond with my visits, ensuring that the dishwasher or laundry has run at least once. "Why do I love my job?" I love kids. I also love protecting kids from ill-mannered Read more adults. I adore encouraging children to pursue creative outlets for frustration, and work to explain to children why something is unsafe. I'm hoping to utilize my experience and knowledge to my own future children. "Why are you the best for the job?" I promise to care genuinely for your children and their safety. I'm text-friendly, and know when it's important to contact the parent versus handling the situation to the best of my advantage. I have common sense, of course. I'm often known as the favorite babysitter, of course it's been a few years, but hopefully I can maintain that status with your children! ^^
