Hi there! My name is Emma, and I am currently a music therapist at Crittenton Children’s Center in KC, MO. One of the reasons I chose to be a music therapist, is because I have always had a passion working with kids. From temporary babysitting jobs and being a full-time summer nanny, to working youth camps and retreats, I thrive in environments with kids! I am intrigued by child development and really enjoy establishing healthy, life-long relationships with the families that I work for. Growing up, my dad needed a lot of help with me and my two siblings. As a kid who had a lot of babysitters and nannies, it was so important that I had someone that made me feel safe and comfortable. I strive to provide that kind of atmosphere for the kids that I babysit. Additionally, I am comfortable working with children who have special needs based on my past education in music therapy working with clients who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
