Hello! My name is Maria and I am 23 years old! Children have always been my passion, and I really enjoy working with them ! :) below is all my past experience: Montessori School, Mission February 2023 - June 2023 Children have always been one of my specialities; especially being the oldest in my family. I have always wanted to be an elementary school teacher, so I decided to give child care a chance to see if I enjoyed the environment. While working at the Montessori school it taught me how important routines are in not only children, but adults as well. It taught me to be more responsible as a whole team, and hold each other accountable for our individual duties around the school. It taught me the importance of sanitation around infants, toddlers, and pre-school. It has shaped me into being on time, being an active listener with the children; as well as paying attention to all their details. It has taught me that a kind person to everyone really makes a difference in the children trusting you. It has made my communication skills better with my colleagues; as well as the children’s parents. My translation skills have gotten even better as well, because when I am needed by the o�ce, I will get called on the intercom and go translate wherever they may need me . Being able to speak two languages can sometimes be a challenge, but being able to translate it on the spot was a challenge at first that later on became easier to overcome.
