Hi! My name is Kayla and I've been a nanny for the past three years, in childcare for 5, and babysitting since I was a teen. I have loved every minute of it, though I am slowly phasing out of childcare and into the realm of data analytics! Since I'm doing a lot of online schooling and still love working with children, I figured babysitting is a great middle-ground for the time being. I have a fairly open availability, although I don't do late nights! Ultimately, if I find a family I mesh with well, I'm happy to stay on as a sitter for the foreseeable future! The family that I previously nannied for still asks me to come back for date nights and birthdays, and I love that! As for working with the little ones: I am keen to help with light housekeeping/meal-prep pertaining to the child(ren). I love Read more doing crafts, creating games, reading books, exploring and playing outdoors, and finding creative ways to solve boredom! I am a lifetime learner, so I enjoy discovering ways to integrate learning and knowledge into different activities, as well. I have been previously CPR certified twice (once through American Heart Association training and once through EMT training), and though I am no longer legally certified, I retain all emergency standards and procedures! I am well-known for creating effective nap- and bedtime routines, even for those kids who just won't go to sleep! I am happy to work with any special-needs children, especially those on the autism spectrum. I have worked with multiple children on the spectrum and I am on the spectrum myself, so I have firsthand knowledge and understanding! I am looking for part-time babysitting/nanny opportunities near the Plainfield/West-side of Indy. Thanks in advance!
