Hi! My name is Becca :) I recently graduated college, and I’m hoping to stay busy this summer and earn some money to start graduate school this fall. I love kids and have a lot of experience working with all ages, as a babysitter back in high school, and more recently as a camp counselor for the past three summers. My style is very relational, I find that when I show kids I care about them am interested in what they have to say, they are much more likely to listen and respect when I need to enforce a rule. I’m also a big believer in incorporating screen-free fun, and know lots of hands-on games and activities for this. I still have really great relationships with all of my previous kiddos and their families, although most of them are too old to need a sitter anymore! I am new to Read more this app! In the past, I got most of my babysitting jobs through parents who recommended me to others, so I never used a formal platform. I will provide those references upon request! As for other qualifications, I am lifeguard, first aid, and CPR certified, and can provide copies of these if needed! I have a car (it’s old, but it runs smoothly) and can pick up, drop off, or take the kids on outings! I also have tutoring experience, potty training experience, and experience with special needs. I can help with homework, laundry, dishes, general tidying, or anything else you might need while I’m working!
