I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am currently working toward licensure as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor). My primary role is as a full-time clinical therapist at a community mental health center, where I have gained over a year and a half of experience working with a diverse range of clients, including children as young as 7, adolescents, teens, young adults, and older adults. I am passionate about fostering a safe and supportive environment for kids and teens to navigate challenging emotions and life situations, while also building strong rapport with parents and guardians to support the entire family unit. My work often involves creative and engaging activities like games, arts and crafts, and music, which I believe help strengthen trust and connection. Beyond my professional role, I have years of hands-on experience caring for children as a proud aunt to my two nephews (ages Read more 6 and 8) and niece (age 2). I’ve supported my family by babysitting, which includes preparing meals, managing bedtime routines (baths, brushing teeth, and storytime), and planning fun outings like trips to the park or at-home games. Seeing the joy on their faces and hearing their heartfelt “I love you” is truly one of the most rewarding experiences. In addition to childcare, I am also available for pet sitting. As someone who values the special bond between people and their pets, I understand the importance of providing attentive and loving care for your furry family members. Whether it’s walking, feeding, playing, or simply keeping them company, I bring the same level of dedication and care to pets as I do to the children I work with.
