Hello! My name is Aisha Bowen and I am a fun, energetic, diligent, and responsible college student from Indiana. I am currently a Howard University Senior studying English and Secondary Education. With that being said, I have a passion for teaching and working with children! I have had both domestic and international experience working with children. I recently spent 6 months in South Africa where I both taught and mentored children from preschool age up to high school age. I am also a dedicated member of the Howard Gospel Choir and we travel internationally as well. That being said, I love to sing, dance, and be involved in musical activities. If chosen to work with your little ones, I will make a point to involve creative activities such as singing, dancing and/or art into our days together. I am confident that I have the energy and skill to keep your Read more little ones safe and entertained. I take pride in being an organized person. I plan my days with your little ones from the time I arrive to the time I leave. I enjoy taking trips to the zoo, Aquarium, pool, park, and museums. As a future educator, I strongly encourage kids to be involved in academic activities like reading and/or writing during my time with them. My experience working with kids professionally extends over 4 years and I have loved every second of it. A few of the setting where I have worked include school, after school programs, churches and special needs teams. In addition to the professional experience I have working with children, I also have a whole life's experience care giving for my brother who has both Cerebral Palsy and Autism. Growing up, I was his teacher, care giver, and sister all in one. Ultimately, quality care is my number one goal. I am always willing to do whatever is best to make sure that my clients are best satisfied. In addition to childcare, I am also comfortable taking on a household management support role as well. I enjoy cooking, cleaning, running errands, and grocery shopping. With all that being said, I welcome the opportunity to be your next nanny!
