I have been babysitting children since the early age of 10. It all started in my neighborhood when I began to watch the 3 kids of family that lived across the street. The kids ranged from newborn-7 years of age. But it wasn't just a job for me. Since I was the oldest girl on the block by 3 years, I became friends with all of the kids I babysat. Soon I was watching all the kids on the block and was absolutely loving it. These experiences lead me to taking the Red Cross Association Babysitter Training Class in order to have appropriate training. I then began to babysit for various families with stellar reviews. I have watched kids from newborn-14 years of ages. I love being active and I love not only teaching the kids I babysit, but also learning from them. I believe that kids have so much Read more to teach and do so unintentionally. I volunteer as a special needs aide at the local middle school in my spare time and vow to work with compassion, patience, but above all love. Nothing makes me happier than watching children I've babysat grow up. I feel even more accomplished when the kids have absolutely no problem approaching me out in public even if it has been years since I've seen them. This isn't just a job for me, it's a relationship that will last for a long time.
