I am willing to work around your schedule to fit you and your child's (childern's) needs. I am also willing to work on the weekend. Let me tell you a bit about myself. I am a mom of two.On our spare time we enjoy playing, practicing yoga, reading, painting, drawing, walks, arts and crafts, baking goods, lots of singing and dancing. My daughter recently started school which gives me lots of free time. I'm stern on using manners, all about love, kindness and passing on my values. Now, a little bit about my experience working with childern. I was part of an internship program called Mchenry County Workforce. I got the opportunity to work in a daycare located in Cary. I worked as an assistant teacher in the toddler room. The children's ages varied from 2 to 5. I read to them, sang, played with them, assisted them with potty training, preparing Read more meals, snacks and beverages, assisted in naptime, helped in comforting them (lots of hugs) , and helping them use words to communicate efficiently. After that internship, I immediatly started at a special education therapy school located in Crystal Lake as well. It was also an internship. I was an assistant teacher as well. I observed the teacher/therapist work carefully with the childern. Many of the children there had a disabilty. I helped with serving their food, playtime, interacting with them to help them emotionally, therapy with feeling different textures with food/dessert items, speech therapy, reading to them ; joining the teacher to communicate with parents on their daily schedule, behavior, and a plan to help that specific child grow. Aside from all of that, I was a driver-nanny for a three year old girl. I drove her to school, picked her up, and would drop her off at home. Occasionaly, I drove her mom, and two brothers to soccer games, baseball games, gymnastics, etc. As well as babysitting on the weekends on and off. My most current position has been as an ABA therapist (applied behavior analysis). Personally, I also have years of experience with babysitting family and being a mom to my own children. I am seeking a family that would drop off and pick up at my home in Lakmoor.
