I started babysitting when I was 13 years old after becoming certified from the Northbrook Fire Department. I sat for many families during a 4 year span and ended up primarily working for one lovely family. When I started with them they had 3 girls 5, 7 & 9. When I was about 17 they added another baby girl to the family. While the father worked full time their mother was starting up her own business. What began as a babysitting job soon turned into their daily nanny raising an infant along with the other 3 girls. I loved that family like they were my own! As the years went on and the kids grew up there was not much need for me any longer. My first “Real Job” in high school, I worked at an arcade running birthday parties for the little kids, running parties and shows for Viva Read more Beads, the company the family I worked with started and Petsmart. As my younger years faded away, I moved on to the restaurant industry while sitting for different families off and on. Now I am looking to get back to my roots and spend my days with engaging, exciting, loving and innocent kids. People of all ages have always been my strongest skill. Children and animals are 2 of my favorite things in life. I have learned throughout the years that there is nothing in this world that makes me happier then being in the presence of the purity and light of children. I love spending my days surrounded by their joy and energy. I want to make a difference on my daily life and I can’t think of a more positive and fulfilling way to do it then working with kids. I am outgoing, fun loving, funny, honest, reliable, relatable, compassionate, patient and really just a big kid at heart! I am very interactive and will read with your children, sing, dance, tumble, take walks outside, go to the park or playground, play in the snow. Your children will not just sit in front of a TV or computer all day. I am really looking forward to spending my time with children and their families who appreciate and enjoy me as much as I do them!
