Hello! My name is Chrishana I am 45 years old, am a mother of 5, and I am new to Waukesha Wisconsin. I am now looking to open a childcare in my home. Right now, I will be accepting 3 children while I work on getting my license, after I my license is complete, I will take up to 6 children. Here is a little about me, I grew up in Colorado where I first worked in a childcare setting at the age of 17 for two years. I then raised my two oldest children, one with extremely high special needs. In 2011 I started working at children's hospital Colorado as a medical assistant for the in-patient unit. After 7 years there, my wife and I received our foster care license and when we received our first placement I stayed home and cared for our foster children. During this time, Read more I cared for our neighbor's little guy for a year before we moved to Wisconsin in 2020. I am now working to get my home childcare license and while I am in the process, I am looking to take in up to 3 children in my home. I have two dogs, no cats and no smoking. I am also working towards my master's in psychology, and I will enter the field once my education is finished, 4 years from now. I have my CPR and first aid certificate and have 90+ hours of training on different childcare specialties. I look forward to meeting you, working with you, and caring for your littles.
