My qualifications for babysitting your child & providing pet care definitely come from being part of a large family full of responsibilities. Being the second eldest of six children & helping my mother raise my four little brothers, I feel like I can handle pretty much anything you throw at me. In addition to all that chaos, we always had many pets throughout the years & am still a huge pet lover. No pet allergies here! One of my brothers is diabetic & another has epilepsy, so I know the needs required when situations occur having medical issues like those for example. I was also the neighborhood babysitter in my teen years & one of my sweetest kids was wheelchair bound with special needs, so I do have experience with children who need extra attention & care. I've recently moved back to the Peoria area to be closer to my Read more family & am taking some college classes at ICC to start working towards my goals. I absolutely love the idea of babysitting some fun, little kids that want to play games, go to the playground, build a pillow fort & read stories or even give them a hand with their spelling homework if need be. Being part of a kids day after school or Friday night while mom & dad go have a date night out sounds like so much fun to me. I always had fun babysitters when I was growing up & I'd love to have that chance again. I like to have fun, play & feel young at heart but can also be strict when need be. Let's face it, you need that balance when you grow up with four little brothers... I am also CPR certified, love to cook & don't mind some light housekeeping or pet care for extra fees.
