My entire high school career was spent nannying for a family of two children. When I started my freshman year, the youngest was a newborn, and the older brother has special needs making him nonverbal and on the autism spectrum. I have experience dealing with two children of varying abilities and needs. I was responsible for getting the son off the bus, driving to speech and occupational therapy, meal preparation, assisting with mealtime for both children, helping out in-home therapists, and of course bringing them to parks, pools, and playing outside.
