Hi! My name is Leah! I have been working in the childcare field for about 10 years now being a nanny/babysitter, as well as a preschool teacher. When time allows, I also help my sisters with their children who’s ages range from 2-7years old. I studied at Columbia College, with a focus in Music to become a Music Teacher, but childcare is truly my passion! Leah initially reached out to me inquiring about the position i had available. After talking for a while, Leah and I had agreed to meet yesterday, Tuesday at 7pm for an interview. When I followed up to decide on a place to meet for the interview, she never responded. I followed up via message two additional times but never heard from her. So not only did I waste time talking to someone to be ignored which is extremely unprofessional, I wasted a night that I could have bee interviewing someone else. I guess, given the unreliability and unprofessionalness of Leah, it was a blessing to learn of these behaviors prior to me potentially hiring her.

During the three months that Leah watched my children she was habitually tardy and when asked to be on time had a negative moody attitude. She also went through personal emails and financial records. Take caution when hiring her to watch your children in your home.
