Hey! I'm Whitney. I have had the absolute pleasure of watching children for as long as I can remember. Helping children find strength, growth, and independence within themselves gives me purpose. I love seeing the smile on a child’s face when they have colored a picture they are proud of or found a new interest. I have had 6+ years of volunteering to work with kids from infant age through 12 years old at church. I am also CPR certified. I have one year of paid experience nannying children at their homes. For infants and toddlers, I love coming up with activities that build fine motor skills which will in turn help them grow their confidence. I also love incorporating activities that will help them with matching their colors and recognizing words as well as doing crafts. With elementary children, I help with homework and encourage responsibility and confidence. And Read more will do crafts with them or games with them, depending on what they like. Every kid is completely unique, which is why it's so important to really know the needs of the child in order to meet those needs. I come early, organized, and prepared and I would be absolutely thrilled to get to know you and your family! -Whitney
