Hi y’all! My name is Alena!! My paid work experience is mainly from college! I worked at a daycare for a church for 2 years and was a nanny for another 2 years! Aside from paid experience, I’ve served in kids since I was young, at my church and still serve frequently now for our kids services! I absolutely love people and love kids! I have such a big desire to be a mom one day and I think it’s so special to have the opportunity to build up young kids into who they will become in the future! As I’ve worked with young kids in the past, my biggest joy has been exactly that! Seeing them start at a young age learning everything, failing, having victory in little things, going through the emotions of life, and then eventually watching them grow into amazing people! My original studies in college Read more was psychology which some might connect with being good with kids and helping them grow but my life is rooted in my relationship with the Lord and grounded in His word. And through my normal work, that is what my biggest joy is in working with kids. Helping them become everything the Lord has called them to be! In gentleness, kindness, self control, and making it a joy for their parents to see the fruit of their life! I’ve been very blessed to see it throughout my life with close friends and family as they are parenting their own children, and that is what my personal nannying would look like as well! ☺️
