Hi! My name is Mollie. I have been looking after kids for most of my career. Originally, I was a preschool teacher for seven years teaching three and four year olds. During this time I also managed the after school program for first through fifth graders. After working with children, I then moved to work in marketing for a few years. However, i decided that I missed working with children, so I left my marketing job and placed an ad as a "Parents Day Out" helper. From that I worked for several families for full and(or) half days. I was able to juggle busy schedules, coordinating my time between all the families, and I was also able to attend to each child needs, ranging from 2 to nine years old. During that time, one of the families asked me to work from the full time. I became their nanny and Read more worked for them for fourteen years. As their nanny I potty trained all three children, took them to play dates and sports, and as thy all grew older. I took them to and from school, helped them with their homework and made them meals. The impact of COVID-19 runs deep and unfortunately, the family could no longer keep me on. So now I have a bit of flexibility to seek work.
