Hello, my name is Jeneffer Ramirez. I graduated Loyola University Chicago last spring 2020 triple majoring in Political Science, Criminal Justice & Criminology, and Global International Studies. I have four years of baby sitting experience with children ages 2-12. I worked very closely with two different families which I could provide as reference. I have also had the opportunity interning at a after school program, where 2 hours were dedicated to tutoring elementary and middle school kids and 2 hours were filled with crafts and outdoor activities. I have assisted as Teacher Assistant for third graders during high school while receiving a certification in child development. I have assisted students with online school work and consider myself to be tech savvy as much of my college courses were online as well.

We hired Jeneffer and she worked for us for a week and we liked her. She wasn't feeling well over the weekend and texted me the following Monday (November 9) to tell me she could not come to work because she wasn't feeling well. Ditto Tuesday. Ditto Wednesday. We checked in with her a few times and she told us she still had some symptoms but would keep us updated. I sent her a few more messages checking in, and she told us she was having phone issues but again would keep us updated. We last heard from her on November 24 and she has now ghosted us. She is not returning phone messages, e-mail messages, or text messages. She signed an employment contract with us that she has now breached. But more importantly, she left us in a total lurch, without child care and without any communication so that we could even begin a search for a replacement. It's disappointing, distressing and incredibly unprofessional. If you are a working mom, run screaming. She seems great, but apparently I'm not the first person this happened to.
