Hello there, I am a current senior at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I’ve always loved working with and teaching children. When I was young I would set up lessons for my little brother. In middle school I started helping out in the toddler room at the local church. In high school I became a tutor and teacher’s assistant, and received great joy from helping my students succeed at subjects they were otherwise struggling in. I’m qualified to tutor in all general subjects, from elementary up to high school level. Beyond that, I took four years of french, four years of ballroom dance, two years of general arts (including musical theater, drawing, and acting), and four years of creative writing. Aside from my academic and art talents, I am a generally cheerful and imaginative person with a great love for reading and the immense positive impact that Read more imaginative play can have on children. I feel comfortable with toddlers and up, and wish to provide your child with the best care experience possible. I am also comfortable with any pets that might be in your household. I grew up with many cats and have worked as a dog walker before, so I don’t mind large dogs and am even happy to take your dog out for a walk if your child wants to do so. I look forward to getting to know you and hope that I can not only take some weight off your shoulders but also leave a lasting positive impact on your child’s life.
