I come from a large extended family that has many children that range from the ages of 1-15. Babysitting my cousins was my very first job and is even one that I continue to enjoy. In addition to having a large family that consisted of younger children to babysit, I also took child psychology, creating lesson plans to help develop literacy for students between the ages of 2-5. I am also a licensed Special Education Teacher for grades 7-12, so I would definitely be able to help with homework. I am a native Spanish speaker, so I can also teach or practice speaking in Spanish with the children I'll be babysitting, and am CPR Certified. My whole philosophy of babysitting is that I didn't properly do my job if the child I'm caring for did not have fun.
