Francesca applied to my Sitter City posting for a part-time nanny position. She was flexible and communicative at first. She was able to jump right in help us during a short period of time. In the beginning she explained she prefers to work with families long term and had open availability. Shortly after starting booking with her became a challenge. Towards the end of her time with us, she did a no-call/no-show. I did not hear from until the next day, which she was ill. I explained to Francesca that she could text even if it is early as we have early mornings due to being parents. She texted me the following week after this incident a day before her usually shift which I had cancelled to rebook with me. I didn't need the help but I asked if she could come another day to support. She did not respond and I haven't heard from her since. I would like to add Francesca doesn't drive. She depends on the support from a family member. She explained that she did not answer text messages because her child damaged her phone.
