I have been a child care giver, baby sitter, and a nanny for more than half my life. Children have always been an important part of my life but since moving to Boise I haven't had the opportunity to support and assist them. As a single mom who raised a son I understand how important quality child care and support can be. I worked as teacher's assistant for a number of years, also assisting in a school for “high risk” boys and then another for children with special needs. I also worked at a K-12 school in Africa for over 2 &1/2 years where I also served as an adviser to high school girls.
