Hi Katrina! I saw your posting for a nanny this summer and just wanted to reach out to let you know a little bit about myself, and see if you are still looking for someone. I am a junior at U of I studying Elementary Education, and I am passionate about caring for and supporting young children! I was so excited to see that your son loves spending his time outside, because in my free time you can always find me out exploring the Palouse. I love hiking, camping, and exploring hidden gems around Northern Idaho with my friends and my fiancé! When it comes to working specifically with pre-school aged students, my experience comes mostly from babysitting and childcare at my church. I have also worked at the Boys and Girls Club in Boise, where I primarily planned, implemented, and supervised outdoor activities for K-2nd students. I have also Read more gained experience in local K-2nd classrooms around Moscow through practicum at U of I. So although most of my experience is with K-2nd students, I love preschool age so much that I have often thought about switching to Early Childhood Education!
